Thought not the current Rhode Island College homepage
this design was use for a full year (Summer 1998- Summer 1999).
I was working as the RIC Webteam Supervisor with two designers
under me and the call came down that we had a go a head to redesign
the RIC home page. The project first started out with the two
designers (Jim Murphy
and Joan Crisistimo), a student designer from another office,
and myself creating designs. We then decided on taking a little
from each of the designs and I was in charge of working the pieces
together.
We then presented the concepts to the RIC Web Community
and College President, they then added their two cents. I reworked
the design a second time and then go the approval. The website
was rolled over and the new design was in place.
The links on the right are just screen shots of
the site. The first link leads to a shot of the Home page with
the rollover in effect and the second leads to a shot of the layout
for the inner pages.
> Photoshop was used to design the layout.
> Fireworks and Dreamweaver were used to create
the HTML and then modify it.
> This project was done over two month period
under the supervision of the RIC WebMaster Karen Rubino
