AMS >> The soup to nuts website

I would call this my first soup to nuts "commercial" website because I was working on it from start to the finish. The background of this project is I was subcontracted by Network Six to work on the Applied Management Systems website, one of their clients website.

The project started off by meeting with AMS and deciding what kind of website they needed. Network Six had setup up a project plan of three Phases. The first phase involved my talents of design and webpage layout. The second and third phase involves Network Six setting up backend database functionally to the generate pages from a database using my design.

I found this project extremely exciting and interesting. I was able to use the creative freedom that was given to me and create a design that the customer loved and I was satisfied with. The design also takes use of the page through the scalable borders that encase the content.

In the end I was able to deliver, under the supervisor of my project manager April Cox, a web site that was easily navigable for the end user, was eye catching, but had the ability to be scalable for database driven pages.

Technical Notes

> Photoshop and Illustrator were used to design the layout.

> Fireworks and Dreamweaver were used to create the HTML and then modify it.

> The stockphotos came from Eyewire.com

> This project was done over a six week period under the supervision of the project manager April Cox.
