A logo is a very important symbol for a Graphic Designer and my logo was a direct result of school research project on the famous graphic designer, Herb Lubalin. I selected him because
his work was pre-computer based. His design process was based on sketching which is an important part of the graphic design process. The pre-computer sketch process helps refine my ideas
and generate new ones.
So after immersing myself in Herb's design work I gain the understanding that his work was based on the play of typefaces and characters with
each other. The weight and balance of the characters.
The style of overlapping characters and the typeface seemed to just fit nicely for my own logo.
